Ages 3-5 Camps

Monday to Friday 9:30am to 11:30am

$175/week ($140 on a 4 day week due to holiday)

Grades 1-6 Camps

AM Camp 8:30am-11:30am

$50/day or $225/week (5 Days)

$180/week (4 days)

PM Camp 12:00pm-3:00pm

$50/day or $225/week (5 Days)

$180/week (4 days)

Full Day Camp 8:30am-3:00pm

$90/day or $425/week (5 days)

$340 (4 days)

*Non-Members who register for less than 4 single days will be charged a registration fee of $25. This limited membership fee covers insurance until August 31st, 2024.

Discounts:

10% off for a second sibling registered in the same week as the first child

20% off third week of camp for the same child or a third sibling registration in the same week as the first two children

30% off fourth week of camp for the same child or a fourth sibling registration in the same week as the first three children

*If a camp has been discounted and the child is withdrawn the discount amount will be reinstated to remaining camps/siblings.

Activities to expect:

Active and quiet games, instruction on all apparatus throughout the week, craft time, outdoor play, water play, snack times, occasional movies (full day only) or Olympics viewing.

Occasionally we will do a craft that involves food(cookie/cupcake decorating, cereal necklaces…) Please let us know about any allergies or food sensitivities that your child has.

What to Wear:

Active wear! No jeans, clothing with zippers, buttons, or snaps. Please avoid baggy/loose clothing as it can be a safety hazard.No jewellery.

What to bring:

Runners! We will go for walks most days and appropriate footwear is essential!

Weather appropriate outer wear (raincoat, hoody, windbreaker, rain boots)

Sun protection: sunscreen, hat, long sleeved shirt…

For water play days: bathing suit, change of clothing, towel…this will be weather pending so please have these things in their bag every day just in case.

A big lunch (full day), a reusable water bottle and several snacks. Please do not send nut products to camp. Half day camps should also have a couple of snacks and a water bottle.

Active Start camps should have a couple of small snack items and a water bottle.

Label all personal belongings!


Pick up and Drop-off:

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before camp begins to put your child’s things in the change room and wait in the hallway for the coach to call your child to begin their camp day.

Pick up is at the time each camp concludes. We have a 10-minute grace period but if you are later than that to pick up your child, a child minding fee will be added to your account. Please be respectful of our coaches and arrive on time for pick up.

Absentee: Please email vipgymsports@gmail.com if your child will be absent.

Camp Refund Policy:

A refund of 80 % of the camp fee will be given with a minimum of 2 weeks advance notice prior to the start date of the camp.

Refund requests must be in writing and sent to vipgymsports@gmail.com.

Pro-rated refunds are NOT given for days absent unless a doctor’s note is provided and submitted to the office for review and evaluation by management.

There is a $25 service charge for NSF cheques & pre-authorized credit card declines.

Camps will run pending registration. If cancellation is necessary, VIP will notify you and fees will be fully refunded.

If a member cancels 2 weeks prior to camp start date, 80% of the camp fee will be refunded. Transfer to alternative weeks may be possible on a space permitting basis. A transfer

fee of $10 will be added to your account.

Refunds or credits will be applied after date guidelines only in the case of medical reasons in which case a doctors’ note is required.

Camp Participants are expected to be emotionally and socially capable of conducting themselves appropriately with their peers and leaders, and to actively participate in all

activities of the program. They are required to adhere to the program Code of Conduct both on and off site. Participants who do not demonstrate these abilities will be required to

withdraw from programs. 80% of the prorated fee will be refunded.
